SCHOLARSHIPS

The Polish Heritage Society will be awarding the following scholarships for the Fall Semester 2012. Grand Valley State University - $300 scholarship Aquinas College - $300 scholarship Grand Rapids Community College - $250 scholarship

All recipients of Polish Heritage Society scholarships must be of Polish descent, and must be a full-time student with a minimum 2.75 GPA. Financial need will be taken into consideration. All applications must be received by the Financial Aid Office by March 15.

Applications can be obtained at area High Schools, or at the above Colleges.

POLISH HERITAGE SOCIETY SCHOLARSHIP GUIDELINES

The purpose of this scholarship fund is to provide financial assistance to students from West Michigan who are of Polish descent. Scholarships will be awarded based on the following criteria:

Must be a full-time student with a minimum 2.75 GPA.

All recipients must be of Polish descent, and must provide a brief statement (signed and dated) delineating their heritage.

Financial need will be taken into consideration.

All applications must be received by the Financial Aid Office by March 15.

The colleges will provide the Polish Heritage Society with the applications. The Polish Heritage Society will select the recipients, and notify the Financial Aid Office of the dollar amount that the recipient will be awarded. This will be done within one month of receiving the list of scholarship candidates.

Aquinas College

Grand Valley State University

Grand Rapids Community College
